Bramble Lake – Now Open!
We’re proud to announce that Bramble Lake is now open and available to book for the 2026 season — becoming the third lake here at Lac de Missy.
About Bramble Lake
Bramble is a stunning, natural, fully gated and fenced 5-acre lake, rich in character and surrounded by mature Oak and Willow trees. This 30-year-old gravel pit features a large central island, wide banks with vehicle access to the swims, and a parking area conveniently located at the road swim.
The lake also benefits from numerous gravel areas and feeding spots, with many of the overhanging trees left in place to provide natural holding and feeding areas for the fish.
The Stock
Bramble is home to a healthy mix of Commons, Mirrors, and Silvers, currently ranging from 10lb to 38lb, with a good chance of something even bigger. Designed to offer plenty of action, Bramble promises enjoyable fishing for anglers of all experience levels.
The Experience
Bramble Lake is ideal for those visiting France for the first time or for a relaxed ‘Dads & Lads’ style fishing trip, offering great sport and an inviting, natural environment to enjoy.
At present, there are two natural swim locations to choose from, with additional swims planned for the future.
Whether you’re looking for a sociable, action-packed session or a peaceful introduction to French carp fishing, Bramble Lake delivers the perfect balance of excitement and relaxation.
Bramble can be booked for a single angler or as a lake exclusive option which can accommodate up to 4 anglers at the moment.
Bramble is Available to book from March to November each year, with a full food package.
The stock in Bramble is completely unknown at the moment As it hasn’t been fished since we have owned the property.
